Srikanta Bose (Mime Artist):Srikanta Bose’s journey as a mime artist is a remarkable tale, spanning from the streets of Kolkata to international acclaim. Beginning his artistic quest at the age of 16 under the guidance of the renowned Shri Jogesh Dutta, Srikanta refined his skills at the Jogesh Mime Academy, supported by a National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. His exceptional talent shone brightly on the world stage, securing the top position at the prestigious World Mime Festival in Greece. Representing India at UNESCO’s Cultural Festival in Paris, Srikanta captivated audiences across continents with his boundless artistry. Now, enchanting audiences at Niv with his captivating performance, ‘One Man Mime,’ Srikanta continues to push the boundaries of expression.He is also the recipient of the Ustad Bismillah Khan Youth Award, 2008 from Sangeet Natak Academi.
